This unique designer rug comes from the rug art collection "FIRE FLAMINGO" by the artist STELLA ESVARA.

She always draws her works by hand, which have nothing to do with a conventional carpet.

This beautiful one-of-a-kind rug features an abstract pattern of a flamingo inspired by the time she lived in Miami. She calls him "FIRE FLAMINGO", her dejávue of passion, paired with the cheerful colors of Florida.

The carpet was hand-knotted by Tibetans living in exile in Nepal and woven with the best, hand-spun highland wool and the finest natural silk. Depending on the incidence of light, the natural silk shimmers on the carpet and makes it shine elegantly in over 22 different colours.

The exclusive unique piece consists of 150 hand-knotted knots of 10 cm and requires around 270 working days.
